LANDSCAPES

Landscape painting and watercolor are almost synonymous, and although landscapes are not my primary focus, I am interested in the color and spatial relationships of the land and sky. Living on the Illinois prairie for eight years made me appreciate the subtle variations of nature. I have been drawing on the Georgia barrier islands, mostly on Sapelo, and some of the drawings are spawning paintings.
